Andy Liebau has been involved in research at Rutgers since the summer before he enrolled at Rutgers. He began working in Professor Monica Driscoll’s lab in the summer of 2012, and has continued there researching the connection between MicroRNAs and Dietary Restriction in C. Elegans. He presented that research last summer at the 20th International C. Elegans conference. In addition to his accomplishments as a scientist, he was selected as a Fellow for the 2014-2015 Gardner Fellowship Program in Leadership and Social Policy, and presented his work on quarantine policy and its use in democracies at that program’s concluding conference in May 2015.
