Jeremy Yeaton is an SAS Honors Program member as well as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Sigma Iota honor societies. He completed a senior thesis project for both the French and Linguistics Departments and his project has won him a Benjamin Franklin travel front from the French Embassy. It also served as the basis for a joint presentation with his advisor at two international conferences where participation by undergraduate students is very rare. His commitment to foreign language led him to help found Rutgers Lingua, an organization that offers students the opportunity to interact with peers maintain their foreign language skills. He understand the necessity of language in promoting a more globally aware community. Most recently he was awarded a Fulbright award to teach English in Bulgaria next year.
