Keerthana Hirudayakanth

Keerthana Hirudayakanth Director of the Community Service Committee for the Rutgers University Programming Association. She has worked diligently to launch this new committee within RUPA and provide Scarlet Knights with meaningful opportunities to volunteer. She has successfully doubled the number of participants in Scarlet Day of Service and expanded the community partners throughout New Jersey. “Serve the City,” a new initiative coordinated conversations between Rutgers students and local service agencies, bridging the gap between students and the New Brunswick community. Her other accomplishments include the Winter Wishes gift drive, the Senior Citizen Prom and Stop And Serve, a program allowing Rutgers students to pack 3,000 snacks for nearby Roosevelt Elementary School.
