Kristen Huang

Kristen Huang is a commuter student who has been a shining example of someone who broke through the difficulties of commuter life and rose to the challenge of immersing herself into all that this great university has to offer. Her current involvement includes participation as a Scarlet Ambassador, Douglass Residential College Media Team member, Douglass Orientation Committee member, Douglass Project Mentor, Peer Academic Leader, RU Info team member, President of She’s The First (Rutgers), and President of The RUAA Scarlet Council. During her time at Rutgers, she has also served as a Community Assistant for Katzenbach Hall, RU Pilot Me mentor and Byrne Summer Research Fellow. She has taken her involvement to a higher level by making a commitment to student philanthropy as a student donor and has also earned herself a membership (upon graduation) into the Alumni Leaders Council, an assembly of volunteer leaders who are committed to serving and representing the entire alumni body.
