Anna P. Gichan is an outstanding example of the importance of using one’s gifts, talents and experiences to give back and create opportunities of service. A proud Mason Gross School of the Arts student, she is referred to as a “modern-day renaissance woman” due to her involvement in various community service initiatives and as a dancer, dance teacher and world traveler. Although born with a hearing-impairment disability, she is constantly challenging herself to forge meaningful relationships and transformational experiences – some of which include, an Alternative Spring Break trip in Washington, DC helping those experiencing hunger and homelessness, and as an LEx Leader for Camp UKnight, where she worked with first-year students, building an inspiring, inclusive and affirming community.
