Maiya Robinson has been a standout employee within the Student Centers and Involvement department. As a Douglass Student Center Information Assistant senior manager she makes others feel valued, supported and cared for, in a way that not all leaders can do. Both her peers and supervisors would agree that she has outstanding customer service skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to make connections with people and make them feel welcomed and important. Because of her success in her current position, she has been appointed as a Senior Manager for the coming school year. She is receiving the Student Staff Excellence Award for her dedication and work ethic.
