Justin Sotolongo
Misha Faerovitch has worked tirelessly to foster student learning as a Learning Assistant in Organic Chemistry. As a study group leader for General Chemistry 161 and 162, he applied to the Preparation in STEM Leadership program, an NSF-funded project. He was the only General Chemistry study group leader to participate in the PSL program, which demonstrates his commitment to learning about teaching and education, and his dedication to professional development. This honoree designs activities that promote collaborative learning and incorporates multiple ideas from the theory and practice.
