Anya Singh-Varma
This honoree has worked diligently to bring awareness to mental health issues. She has been an LEx Leader with Leadership & Experiential Learning, President of the Rutgers Chapter of To Write Love On Her Arms, and served on the RUSA Mental Health Task force. She has been the coordinator of the National Association of Mental Illness New Jersey’s fundraising walk that attracted over 1000 participants, 70 volunteers and raised over $150,000 for mental health awareness. She also served as a SAS Honors Peer mentor and been part of the Omega Phi Alpha service sorority.
