Samuel Klein
This recipient has exemplified a remarkable commitment to research in mathematics. He is the top graduating student from the Mathematics Department and has received many of the departments highest honors. He has also been nominated for a Presidential Fellowship to continue his studies at Rutgers. His research, which has already appeared in the moderated electronic repository for scientific research (at Cornell University), is described as spectacular and of strong Ph.D.-thesis caliber. He is heavily involved in the Rutgers Undergraduate Mathematics Association, Garden State Undergraduate Mathematics Competition, and serves as a tutor for students from middle school through college.
