Mariya Galochkina
This honoree is a senior majoring in Mechanical Engineering who has worked on an education research project with Dr. Jonathan Singer in the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering developing innovative models for a high school summer program. This pilot project will be a component of the upcoming Active Learning Workshop at Rutgers and a publication in preparation for education research. Other research includes the development of a novel microscale coating method based on electrospray deposition. This work has been successfully published, with them as the second author. Their effort in this project led to their participation in the undergraduate poster contest in the 2017 and 2018 annual meeting of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers in Tampa and Pittsburgh, respectively.
