Our next honoree has contributed to improving graduate student life at Rutgers through sustained leadership and dedication. This student played a critical role in organizing the first ever Graduate Student Appreciation Week which fostered a sense of community among the master’s and doctoral students. While pursuing their PhD in Geography, they have organized and presented at several scholarly conferences. They formerly served as the treasurer and are now the president of the Graduate Student Association working tirelessly to give graduate students a voice on campus.
