Emily Woods
This honoree has spent their college career pursuing joint goals of environmental and social impact distinguishing themself in research, academics, and student engagement as a Henry Rutgers and a Rutgers Trustee Scholar. They were an assistant for the Mandela Washington Fellowship Program and an Aresty Research Assistant, as well as president of the Students for Environmental Awareness. They are the founder of the Rutgers University Sustainability Coalition, and worked with the New Brunswick Community Farmers Market, speaking to customers and health clinic patients about food assistance benefits to improve food access in New Brunswick. This honoree is also a mentor for the Douglass Residential College and a LEx Leader.
