Dylan Kovacevich
This honoree is a junior double-majoring in geology and physics who is actively involved in research through various departments and universities. Some of them include: the Earth History and Stratigraphy lab in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, overseen by Dr. Kenneth Miller, and Geoscience Research at the Cordillera Talamanca project in collaboration with the School of Geology at the University of Costa Rica, supervised by Dr. Vadim Levin. The latter project is sponsored by the National Science Foundation. They were awarded an undergraduate research grant of $1,500 and have presented their research works to the American Geophysical Union and the Geological Society of America.
