Wamia Siddiqui

Siddiqui, Wamia

Wamia’s dedication to service is outstanding, and she furthers this by being sure to engage deeply with the local community to best address their needs, rather than designing solutions without connecting with stakeholders. Through her work with Rutgers Amnesty International, she worked in a way that was community grounded, including working directly with refugee organizations in the local area, and holding volunteer training on campus with the New Brunswick women’s health center, seeking to bridge advocacy with direct service work.
