Morriel Kasher
Jacqueline has published 3 manuscripts in top-tier journals. She has worked to develop a highly novel hypothesis linking orexin, sleep, and binge eating. This idea formed the basis of a review/perspective article that was accepted at Neuropsychopharmacology. Because of her exceptional writing skills and remarkable intellectual capital contribution, Jacqueline is the first author on this paper. Jacqueline was also the first author on an invited paper at Trends in Neuroscience – a very prestigious review journal for the field. Here, she contributed an excellent primer on the role of the orexin system in drug addiction.
