Nathan is an outstanding learning assistant for Systems Physiology. He demonstrates a true passion for teaching, as he is always trying out new ways of explaining difficult content to students in the course. Nathan is open minded, kind, engaging, and incredibly intelligent. He makes a point to get student feedback about which topics they want covered. He has excellent feedback and innovative ideas about ways to improve the role of the learning assistants and study groups in our course. He is respectful of others’ backgrounds, opinions, and ideas. To teach well also means to listen and adapt, and Nathan does this incredibly well for someone who is still an undergraduate student themself.
