Paul Mulcahy
Divon began his journey the spring semester of 2020 at Middlesex College. He thrived as a student leader earning Dean’s List recognition and an invitation to join the school’s Honors Society, Phi Theta Kappa. In 2021, he graduated from Middlesex College with the highest honors and transferred to Rutgers University-New Brunswick to further his academic studies. Remarkably, in January 2022, he was officially sworn into office as the youngest person and the first male of color to ever serve on the Board of Education in South Plainfield’s history. During his tenure at Rutgers University, he has illustrated his scholarly and leadership potential through his grades and student involvement.
