Katrina has served as an ambassador, leader, and mentor to her peers, team members, classmates, faculty and staff, and friends. She has always looked for opportunities to share and reflect upon her greatest learning experiences and foster generations of leaders after her. Katrina has served as an ambassador for the School of Engineering and Department Liaison for the Biomedical Engineering Department, providing her perspective to prospective students and continuously communicating with faculty and students to introduce a curriculum that reflects the needs of the industry and student body. She has always advocated for females in STEM as a Society of Women Engineers mentor, where she has provided her mentees resources to help them navigate through their college journey, and assisted with multiple middle school Girl Scout Troop lab tours. Her passion for sharing knowledge, persistent curiosity in every new project she partakes in, and reliable presence across campuses has allowed her to be the main form of contact for multiple engineering departments and students.
