Rutgers Hillel provides a space for not only Jewish students and faculty to engage in their own beliefs, but has worked in building interfaith interactions this past academic year. Rutgers Hillel enables students to engage in their Jewish heritage, delve into difficult spiritual and religious questions, and facilitates both inter-community and intra-community dialogue. This past year, they coordinated events including: an interfaith game night, packing necessity bags for the homeless, writing cards for the sick, and work at Elijah’s Promise, a soup kitchen. These events encouraged dialogue on both a larger level between communities and on the micro-level between students.
