Rutgers Hindu Yuva aims to practice, preserve, and promote Hindu values. This organization has taken part in different service efforts, involvement of Hindus of all beliefs, and has continuously tried to raise awareness amongst the larger Rutgers community. Hindu Yuva has held fundraisers to help the Rutgers Food Pantry and the homeless shelter in Piscataway. Hindu Yuva has also worked with the administration in raising awareness about Hindu practices and values and how Hindu phobia can affect Hindu students. Hindu Yuva hosts Guru Vandana, which is an event where students honor and appreciate their professors and administration for all their hard work.
