Mohamed Asker
Rachana Kelshikar has been active in her role as Student Affairs Chair of the Rutgers University Student Assembly. In collaboration with the Rutgers Commuter Student Association, she has advocated for the availability of charging stations in the Student Centers and ensured that a lounge was available for commuters at the Douglass Student Center. In the fall she coordinated “From Dialogue to Action: Racism in America and its Impact on our Community,” a town hall that addressed minorities, hate speech, and campus culture and featured speakers from RUPD, the Center for Social Justice Education, and Student Affairs. She is receiving the Bridge Builder Award for his collaboration, dedication to students, and leadership.
