Emily Woods
A three-year veteran of LEx Leader Corps, this honoree has been engaged since before their first semester as a participant in Camp UKnight. They have served as a member of the Institute for Women’s Leadership, interned with Sanar Wellness Institute and Catholic Charities, and have served as a Domestic Violence Residential Advocate at Safe & Sound of Somerset, operating the 24/7 hotline and providing case management and advocacy services. They have served as a leader within the Discovery Summer Retreat Program where they were responsible for teaching incoming students how to be a servant leader in the Rutgers community and they will be enrolling in the Graduate School of Social Work.
