Damani Van Rensalier
This honoree is one of the greatest student-athletes in the history of Rutgers, exemplifying the athleticism and leadership displayed by Paul Robeson. The 2019 NCAA Champion, they are the all-time most winning wrestler in the history of Rutgers with 123 victories, the only four-time All-American in program history, the only three-time Big Ten champion, and they finished the 2018-19 season with an unblemished 32-0 record. Off the mat, this honoree is an exemplary student and provides mentorship and inspiration to youth involved in the Scarlet Knights Wrestling Club.
