What makes this recipient unique is not their incredible creativity, although they are wildly creative, and it is not their dedication. What makes them most unique is their humility. They are responsible for helping to design some of most memorable moments of their own college career that they have shared with thousands of peers through their work with RUPA, Scarlet Council, Leadership and Experiential Learning, and Dance Marathon. They are stunningly spirited, positive, and kind in the way they interact with others, and they lead their peers through actions as much as words. When others are able to lead most through their position or their role within an organization, they have a way of converting everyone around them, regardless of structure or hierarchy, into a team members. They are a friend gatherer and their work is informed by her relationships. This recipient is a good listener and is so connected with the student body through authentic and inclusive interactions. For those who don’t have the privilege of knowing them, most have likely been impacted through their involvement in the programs and events that they have been a part of developing because they are some of the shared positive experiences that all Rutgers students share.
