Nicholas values service and giving back, and one can look at the RUSA Recovery fund. This was established in April 2020, in collaboration with the Office of the Dean of Students, in order to provide financial assistance to students in the throes of economic distress caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. With his knowledge and experience, Nicholas helped other schools in the BIG 10 and their student governments set up their own versions of RUSA’s Recovery Fund.
