Hannah N. Makasare
As a manager at Recreation, Matthew is tasked with scheduling the intramural staff to cover each night of activities. Matthew served as the primary supervisor and mentor to 12 intramural supervisors and over 30 intramural officials. He is also responsible for running and implementing sport officials training for flag football, soccer, basketball, and volleyball. Matthew has been a great mentor to new student officials, and has set the standard for work, professionalism, and attitude each time an official steps on the field or court. His leadership helps inspire other staff and can energize the group if they are having a difficult night. He is willing to do the little things to help make the program successful.
