North American Disease Intervention (NADI) is an organization focused on raising awareness about diabetes and hypertension in the community through health screenings and education. NADI train dozens of students each year to conduct basic clinical measurements like blood pressure and BMI/fat percentage and provide preventive education. The organization was founded in 2014. This year, they held 500+ screening events through collaboration with different organizations including Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, libraries, adult day care centers, farmers’ markets, religious venues (e.g. temples, churches), and conventions.
