Audrey is the program assistant and Internship Class instructor for the Leadership Scholars Certificate Program at the Institute for Women’s Leadership. Audrey is consistent in achieving academic excellence both within the Leadership Scholars Program and her studies in Design and Latino and Caribbean Studies, despite their intensive natures. She also achieves excellence in her activist work on campus, in which Audrey advocates for the Latinx, undocumented, and BIPOC Mason Gross student communities through her involvement with various student organizations and campus centers. Audrey attains such success as she cultivates a direct link between her passion for design with her devotion to bringing forth social change in her community. She recognizes that art is inherent to political and social empowerment and that social justice movements occur through the method of art and organizing, which Audrey utilizes in her academic and campus work.
