UndocuRutgers has always made it their mission to educate members of the Rutgers community on what it means to be an immigrant in this nation. They provide a voice for not only people in New Brunswick, but also those who identify themselves as immigrants or undocumented in Rutgers University. They have hosted many events with outside organizations that helped educate other students and organizations on knowing their rights and on understanding financial aid options for those who are Dreamers or those under DACA. They have allowed for their events to be open to high school students who are also looking for colleges who are open to undocumented students, such as Rutgers University. They have spread their words of wisdom to other organizations on campus that do not necessarily represent social justice issues as well.
