Rutgers Asian Student Council
Caitlyn has created an interdisciplinary project to prepare bystanders to intervene in health crises until medical professionals can arrive. She created the Preparedness Health Intervention Series, a project that prepares students to act in situations of opioid overdose, mental health crisis, and cardiac events. Caitlyn utilized her education and her experience in Rutgers University Alternative Breaks, and support from the Institute for Women’s Leadership to create this collaborative project that achieved her goals of spreading accessible and quality life-saving health education to students across Rutgers.
