This award recipient has assisted the community where they live and the university as an accounting and math tutor by helping a multitude of students during their four years of undergraduate studies. The impact that they have on the students was noteworthy at both Bergen Community College and Rutgers Business School-Newark. Their students have improved their scholastic performances, improved their technical skills, and overcome their fear and anxiety of failure. They have helped several students from their native country transfer to Bergen Community College and start a new life in United States. Their goal is to participate in a high school mentoring program in their community and help youth develop soft and technical skills. They have demonstrated exemplary leadership through academic and professional success, as well as playing an active campus role. They have always been an innovative and diligent student, supportive of inclusion and diversity in the classroom. They possess the spirit of a leader, demonstrated by the fact that they were chosen to participate in two highly selective leadership conferences for PwC and Deloitte. In addition, throughout their internship with PwC, they were selected out of 430 applicants to participate in the Summit Leadership Conference with the firm. They are a member of the Accounting, Finance and Future Business Leaders of America Organization at Rutgers University, and had a great impact on the RU community by offering their time and support to these organizations. They created and organized events that would help students introduce themselves to recruiters and find an internship/full time position in their field.
