Ian has participated in a plethora of academic and extracurricular activities making significant contributions to the Rutgers community. Ian is involved with the Rutgers chapter of Circle K International, which he has been a member of since his sophomore year. Throughout his time in Circle K, he served as club treasurer and club president. As president, Ian led a leadership team of 11 student leaders which recruited 59 members into the club this year. Ian planned and executed a variety of community service projects for the club to participate in performing over 1100 hours of community service to the group. In addition to the service opportunities, Ian also provided fellowship opportunities to the membership from activities during meetings to organizing socials outside the meetings. Ian really created a sense of family and belonging within Circle K. Outside of Ian’s participation in Circle K, he has participated in the Global Roommates program, teaches in the ODASIS program, completed research in the York Lab and served as a tutor at the SAS Honors tutoring program.
