Jenika has made significant contributions to the Rutgers community during her time here. Jenika has experience as a Peer Mentor at the Paul Robeson LLC as well as working with the PRCC on student leadership training. She is also a LEAD intern in the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership where she works on projects such as the peer mentor course and the Mark Conference. Jenika has great energy and has been tapped many times for speaking opportunities. These include being a Mark Conference ignite speaker, a NETMAT Speaker at Career Exploration and Success, a facilitator for the Envisioning Hunger-Free College through DEI conference, emceeing the STEAM Womens Empowerment brunch, and more. She has been involved in many of these positions for multiple years, speaking to the longevity of her commitment. She is also a McNair Scholar, an EOF scholar, a Douglass woman, and a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success Honor Society, so she has very high academic standards for herself and is flourishing in that regard as well.
