Vahini is a participant in the Global Village program at Douglass and several Douglass organizations. Vahini is ambitious, dedicated, honest, and enterprising. As the student representative on the Global Village restructuring committee, Vahini was an essential part of creating the new iteration of Global Education at Douglass. She is one of the few students who regularly attends meetings and other activities and throws herself wholeheartedly into the program. She is also a frequent participant in other Douglass programs, including PLEN, Douglass Externships, and the Legal Careers programming. Outside of Douglass, Vahini is just as impactful at Rutgers as a larger institution, participating in the Eagleton Institute of Politics, serving as a Diversity Peer Educator with the Center for Social Justice Education and LGBT Communities, and is a member of three honor societies. Vahini has also secured many coveted internships including a Critical Intelligence Internship, as well as a Judiciary Externship with the New York Supreme Court.
