Aparna Ragupathi has served in the capacity of Student Advisory Board President at the Rutgers University Honors College. By lending her talents to the Honors College, Aparna has made a direct and significant impact on the entire student body, inspiring 2,000 students to act in their communities. She has led critical conversations on diversity and social justice, both large and small, with many of her peers after the student group True Inclusion released their Anti-Blackness in the Honors College Report. She has navigated intensely difficult conversations across differences with her student peers, especially those with a wide range of political viewpoints, while still being a leader who serves all students. Aparna has also taken on leadership in many other spaces, including as a correspondent for The Daily Targum, the Eric B. Chandler Health Center at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and at Triple C Housing, a North Brunswick organization focused on expanding affordable housing opportunities and supportive services to individuals, families and veterans impacted by a disability, who are experiencing homelessness or long-term hospitalization.
